This page is maintained by the VesselStory team to explain, in plain language, how we handle the information you share with us. VesselStory is early-stage software; we'll update this document as the product grows.
Information we collect
- Waitlist details you provide: name, email address and boat type.
- Messages, photos and receipts you send to VesselStory through WhatsApp or the app.
- Basic technical information such as device type and pages visited.
How we use it
- To build and maintain your vessel's digital record.
- To contact you about your account and product updates.
- To improve VesselStory and prioritise what to build next.
How we store it
Data is stored with reputable cloud providers with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised team members and automated services required to run the product.
Sharing
We don't sell your data. Your vessel's story is yours — we only share it with people you choose to share it with (for example, a prospective buyer via a link you generate).
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or unsubscribe from emails at any time by writing to hello@vesselstory.com.
